Cambridge Eleven is a growing series of original literature written principally for 13 to 17 year-old readers. Titles are only published in the language they were originally written in. Cambridge Eleven accordingly refers to the eleven official languages of South Africa, and not the number of titles in the series. All titles in the series are NCS (New Curriculum Statement) compliant, and contain features such as a contents page, a synopsis of the book, a short biography of the author, a detailed glossary and relevant revision questions with model answers.

Lost in Liberia Is a story of twins, Joanne and Rob, who become separated from their parents in a war-torn African territory. The children face a series of adventures which challenge their courage, but help arrives in the form of a Liberian girl of similar age who joins them in their efforts to find their parents. Tension mounts as they realise they are being pursued by a scar-faced soldier apparently intent on capturing them. However, there is a surprising twist to the story at the end when their supposed enemy reveals himself to be not who they thought he was.
