Your school journey begins! You will focus on developing basic numeracy and literacy skills, and learning motor skills through play and exploration. You will learn to read and write, and although you follow a structured curriculum, you will enjoy play-based learning.

Your curriculum broadens and you begin to learn more about the world around you, through subjects such as Natural Sciences and Social Sciences. You will continue to deepen your knowledge in mathematics, languages and life skills.

Subjects begin to specialise even further, as you learn new areas such as Economics, Technology and Accounting. You will probably begin to be drawn to certain subjects and areas of learnign, which will help you choose which subjects you wish to specialise in for the next phase of your school journey.

You will begin to be prepared for higher education and the world of work. You will choose a set of subjects that match your interests and career dreams. While some subjects will remain compulsory, such as languages and mathematics, you will be able to choose your own package.
